PRODUCT HISTORY

1995
Certified Laboratories water treatment specialist is made aware of various water related problems in the outdoor wood burning furnace (outdoor wood stove) industry.
1995-1996
Discovered that the various designs of wood stoves had similar problems regardless of the metals that were used in the construction of the wood stove and the other components of the heating systems. Certified Labs puts years of experience to work to try and find solutions to these water side problems. After analyzing the different designs and the water related problems, a product that had been developed for low pressure steam boilers is recommended and sold to various customers.
1996-2003
The improved protection from Certified Laboratories provided throughout the systems was noticed very quickly and many of the 'normal' problems were gone. Testing of the treated water in hundreds of systems treated with this initial product provided verification that protection to help prevent corrosion, scale and sludge in these systems was being maintained. Certified Laboratories provides service, products and laboratory assistance that is unprecedented to this industry.
2003
Certified Laboratories' experience and professional reputation of servicing this industry for eight years was really being noticed by various manufacturing companies. At this time we pursued an opportunity to have a customized product developed for the outdoor wood stove industry. By taking many of the ingredients from the original product and adding new ones that were recently developed, we came up with the current Wood Burning Furnace Water Treatment. The Wood Burning Furnace Water Treatment is developed based on 'worst case' water characteristics. By doing so, you the stove owner, can feel confident that it can and will help protect your system from the negative effects water has on an untreated or incorrectly treated hydronic system.
2003-Present
The feed back from our manufacturing customers and stove owners has been great right from the very beginning. Lab reports also confirm our Wood Burning Furnace Water Treatment provides long term, effective protection. Positive results continue to be reported when the treatment is added to both new and old outdoor wood stove systems.
