Change of Ownership?
Purchased a used Crown Royal Stove? Start the process to transfer any remaining warranty coverage to the new owner.
How the Warranty Transfer Process Works
Step 1. Submit a Warranty Transfer Request
Complete the Warranty Transfer Request Form so we can review the stove’s original warranty registration and maintenance history. Annual water samples must be on file for the warranty transfer process to proceed.
Step 2: Eligibility Verification
Our team will verify the original warranty registration and confirm that all required annual water testing records have been submitted.
Step 3: Dealer Inspection
If the stove qualifies for a warranty transfer, we will coordinate with a local authorized Crown Royal Stoves dealer to perform an on-site inspection. The dealer will document the condition of the stove and submit photographs and inspection notes for review.
Inspection fees are the responsibility of the customer and are paid directly to the dealer. Fees typically average around $200 but may vary depending on location and travel requirements.
Step 4: Warranty Transfer Approval
Once approved, the remaining balance of the original 20-year limited warranty will transfer to the new owner. The warranty period does not restart. For example, if the Crown Royal Stove is 5 years old, the transferred warranty would provided the remaining 15 years of coverage under the original limited warranty terms.
