Dealer Change of Ownership Inspection Form

Dealer Warranty Transfer Process

This form should only be submitted after the dealer inspection has been completed. Follow the steps below to complete the warranty transfer process.

Step 1: Verify Water Testing

A current water test must be on file before completing the dealer stove check. The test must include chloride results. If a current water test with chloride results is not on file, a water sample must be submitted to Image Supply before performing the dealer stove check. Chloride levels must be below 50 ppm to proceed with the warranty transfer inspection.

Step 2: Bill the Customer

The customer is responsible for all fees associated with the dealer stove check. Bill and collect payment from the customer before completing the stove check.

Step 3: Complete the Dealer Stove Check

Inspect the Crown Royal Stove and document your findings using the Dealer Change of Ownership Form on this page. Provide complete inspection details and include any recommendations or concerns in the Dealer Recommendation section.

Step 4: Take Required Photos

Clear photographs of the furnace are required in addition to the completed inspection form. Photos must be clear, properly lit, and in focus. Grainy or blurry photographs will not be accepted and may prevent the warranty transfer from being approved.

  • Front of Boiler – Keep door closed. Take the photo approximately 8–10 feet from the boiler.
  • Firebox & Door – Keep door open. Take the photo close to the boiler with sufficient lighting to clearly show the inside of the firebox.
  • Heat Exchanger & Door – Keep door open. Take the photo close to the boiler with sufficient lighting to clearly show the heat exchanger.
  • Ash Pan – If equipped, remove the ash pan from the stove and photograph it separately.
  • Back of Boiler – Keep plumbing door open. Take the photo approximately 5–7 feet from the boiler.

Step 5: Submit Form & Photos

Once the completed Dealer Change of Ownership Form and required photographs have been submitted, Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. will review the request and determine whether the warranty transfer is approved or denied.

If the warranty transfer is approved, the transferred warranty continues for the remaining portion of the original 20-year warranty term.
